It tastes amazing. The taste of corriander and ginger add a nice flavor to the rasam that reminds of hotel. This recipe is from Chef Deena https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZ3tAtESqr4&t=256s ## 1. Ingredients 1. Cumin 2. Corriander seeds 3. Tomatoes (5) 4. Corriander leaves and stem 5. Ginger 6. Garlic 7. Turmeric powder 8. Chilli powder 9. Corriander Powder 10. Green Chilli ## 2. Procedure 1. Add and saute little cumin and a tablespoon of corriander to very little oil in the pan. Too much oil will float in the end product and may not look appealing 2. Add smashed ginger and garlic., Keep the skin on ginger and garlic. 3. Add 5 tomatoes and corriander leaves stem. Add little turmeric powser, corriander powder and chili powder. I skipped the chilli and corriander powders and it still came out good. 4. Add salt and green chilli 5. Let the tomatoes and the rest of the stuff smash a little. 6. Add 3 cups of water. Add some corriander leavesand let it boil. (Boil for sometime 10-15 mins) 7. Strain the soup and squeeze the liquids out of the solids. Add some cumin powder and corriander leaves. I also tried to add a thaalippu with mustard seeds and curry leaves but it was not necessary. The soup has a lot of flavor and goes very well with rice like a rasam
